Oxygen generation plants

Our Oxygen generation systems produce oxygen to capacities up to 100 tpd  and purity up to 95%.

Oxygen Generating Plant by Pressure Swing Adsorption  ( PSA )

PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) is used to separate oxygen gas from air in adsorption tower by feeding the gas under certain pressure.
This system consists of two vessels filled with Molecular Sieves and Activated Alumina. Clean compressed air is passed through one vessel and oxygen comes out as product gas. in this process the exhaust gas (Nitrogen) is discharged back into atmosphere
PSA  is The technology of air-to-oxygen production with the use of adsorption processes in oxygen generators for the recovery of high-purity oxygen.
PSA oxygen generator plants allow production of high-purity oxygen (up to 95%
 )  from air, The oxygen generators using clean compressed air as raw material and two vessels filled with Molecular Sieves and Activated Alumina.
PSA units can be an be turned ON and OFF
 with the push of a single button and system only require 10 minutes to start producing high purity Oxygen .


Plant Features: low cost of Oxygen production ,The only utilities required are Cooling water and Electrical power. design for long service life , There are very limited moving parts in the PSA process and hence with routine preventive maintenance , systems is very complex ,simple operation ,  compact structure, simple to install , high operational reliability ,fully automatic PLC based controls system , auto start,auto purge , continious operation

Oxygen  Generating Plant by Membrane Separation

The Oxygen  Generating Plant by Membrane Separation  is similar to the nitrogen membrane system flow process and consists in difference in the rate of oxygen  and nitrogen penetration through membrane substance. The only difference is that in this case oxygen instead of nitrogen is the target product. 

Membrane systems based on the principle of differential velocity of various gas mixture components . The driving force in the gas separation process is the difference in partial pressures on different membrane sides.The Oxygen separation Membrane is a cylindrical bundle and Each bundle contains several million hollow fiber fine tubes made from polymer material.
The compressor compressed air into the polymer membrane filters Air enters at one end and flows to the opposite end through the fiber bore. the membranes act like a filter with no moving parts and continuously generate Oxygen at selected flow rate and purity.
According to the characteristics, various gases can be divided into "rapid" and "slow " gas , Pressurized air is fed through one end of the Membrane.Gas separation takes place through fiber wall.
 First, the rapid gas O2 infiltrate through the fiber wall and delivered under slight excessive pressure to delivery tank through the vent nozzle on the outer side of the Membrane separator. slow gas Nitrogen does not permeate through the fiber wall. it will flow out from the gas collector at the end of the pressure box and finally enter nitrogen product gas
.
produced Oxygen with the purity of up to 45%  may be used in technological processes of metallurgical companies, in metal cutting and welding. Companies involved in fish, shrimps, crabs and mussels farming use membrane oxygen plants for incubation support purposes.

Oxygen Generating Plant by Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption ( VPSA )

Similar to PSA also VPSA ( Vacum Pressure Swing Adsorption) is used to separate oxygen gas from air in adsorption tower by feeding the gas under certain pressure and  oxygen vacumed by Vacuum pump .

This system consists of two beds filled with Molecular Sieves and the cycle alternately in Production and in Regeneration. Clean compressed air with pressure  1.1 to 1.5 Bar inlet , and oxygen comes out as product gas  at 1.05 to 1.3 Bar. Regeneration of Molecular sieves is done by a Vacuum pump 0.4 Bar Absolute pressure. in this process the exhaust waste gas 85% Nitrogen and 15% Oxygen is discharged back into atmosphere . Product Oxygen gas purity is 90 to 95%.


VPSA oxygen generator plants allow production of high-purity oxygen (up to 95%
 ) and large capacities above 200 NM3/hr  from air , The oxygen generators using clean compressed air as raw material .
VPSA units can be an be turned ON and OFF
 with the push of a single button and system only require 20 minutes to start producing high purity Oxygen .

Diffrence between VPSA and PSA technology :

VPSA recommended for larger capacity above 200 NM3/hr capacities and PSA recommended for capacity up to 200 NM3/hr
VPSA output pressure is up to 1.3 Bar but PSA plants is up to 4 Bar ,for higher Oxygen pressure requirement in VPSA plants, we can add Oxygen compressor
VPSA plant are more costly to build than PSA but due to more efficient operation and larger capacity , this extra cost is easily recovered in short time.
At capacities above 200 NM3/hr VPSA plant have lower Power consumption in same capacities of PSA plant  per cubic meter of Oxygen produced.
